Dhanasheel Muralidharan recently watched Dreamworks’ 2001 computer-animated fantasy comedy Shrek and can’t seem to stop talking about it. “I can’t believe I missed such a classic, but I’m glad I finally saw it,” Muralidharan said. While many of his classmates are happy for his discovery, others are not as enthusiastic. “Every time he sees me in the bathroom he yells ‘Get out of my swamp!’ in a poor Scottish accent,” a dejected Yadin Joseph recounts. “In the middle of the night I’ll hear him say ‘Ogres have layers’ while laughing to himself,” Ted Xiong said. Others have described Muralidharan attempting to sing “Welcome to Duloc” numerous times, but always getting the words wrong. Despite some negative feedback, Dhanasheel is determined to catch-up on all the movies he has missed out on over the years. He last told reporters he was planning on watching Kung Fu Panda this coming weekend.
